Rescue!

I came upon this little guy by chance and I couldn't say no to taking him. He is a sweetheart and very active. The people I got him from rescued him from his original owner. His lost eye looks like it was from possibly a live feeder that got the better of him. I was holding him to check him for mites and he is making the faintest whistling sounds while he breathes. I didn't want to try to pry his mouth open just yet since he just got here today, but I have a theory that his eye injury may extend deeper than just his eye. His nose isn't wet, and the house isn't cold. However, I don't know if the people I got him from gave him a UTH for warmth... also, I have no idea what colors he has going on. The girl said he is albino but iunno. Anyways, just wanted to share this cute noodle.

His life should be better in your hands. That's a great rescue, great job. Keep us posted on his progress.

One eye, or not, very striking.
Maybe lavender snow? Not sure with the intense yellow. Looks like maybe a couple things going on there?
No expert here, but I question the albino.

White snakes just have a fairy tale quality to them.

(I am assuming this guy is a corn, and not another species of rat snake, but I may be showing my ignorance here.)

After some clicking around...some of the Blizzards have streaks of yellow.
I actually find a tiny bit of colour makes an all white snake more interesting. If I were to buy one from a breeder, I would request they pick one that showed some promise of not developing into a totally chalk white.

I found a forum for "albino" corn snakes that featured many light colored morphs, so maybe people are just using the term in a more general sense.
