    BP fasting after shed

    Hey everyone,

I've had my ball python for about 2 and a half months, he was said to be about 5 months when I got him/her, not sure the gender yet. But two weeks ago he finished shedding, most came off in one piece but I did have to soak him to get a couple small pieces off. He hasn't ate in 5 weeks now, wouldn't eat right when his shedding started and hasn't ate since. He ate like a champ for 5 weeks before all of that and I haven't changed anything in his tank since. His humidity hovers between 50 and 60%, and his Temps are 77-80 on the cool side and 88-90 on the warm. He has two identical hides also. Lately he just checks out the f/t prey for a few minutes in striking mode and then just turns away. I've tried leaving it in there for a night but he never takes it. Anyone have advice for me? I appreciate it.

Feeding live usually gets them going again. I switch between f/t and live.
