incubation temp.

I know for crocs/alligators, the temp they are incubated at detirmines the sex of the baby.

But what about snakes ?? Does the temp matter ??

no it doesnt at least im pretty sure because i was reading something about incubatin in the bp manual and it stead that it should just be kept at a constant 90 degrees but im not sure

88 - 90 degrees for ball python eggs. I like 89.2 (don't ask me why, i'm just wierd) .... Temperature does not influence the sex of the hatchlings in ball pythons ... It's actually the females chromosomes that determine the sex of each hatchling and in a large enough sample it usually turns out to be very close to 50/50 (although individual clutches can sometimes be heavy one way or the other).
