    He looks good up there!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Ideas?? I'm always game to show off some caging ideas.

I have 3 different snakes and I give all of them climbing opportunities.

The top cage here (48" x 24" x 14") is for a royal, a fairly boring and terrestrial snake. But guess what I see somewhat often in the late night hours? If you guessed some climbing, you are correct.

The bottom cage is larger, (48" x 30" x 20") and houses a locality boa constrictor. He is rather semi arboreal and I ring him climbing and perching often.

The last cage is 48" x 24" x 24". It houses a coastal carpet python. She is highly arboreal, though looking at this picture one would think differently.

I use a combination of wood dowels wrapped with vines, and some real tree branches for perches.

If you have a mainland retic, you may have to get creative and spend some $$ to get the climbing and perching you desire once the snake is large.

But if you have super dwarf, you could arguably use the same setup I use for my coastal.

If you can find another branch that has a fork at one end, put that (fork) toward the top and the snake will be supported more evenly.

Even the huge retics will climb if they have a chance.

This thread has some nice pictures.

Note the forked branches and size of the cage.

So,,, Mainland, dwarf or super dwarf?

The perches look good, and will be just fine the way you have them set up.

If you have a mainland, that will be a short-lived setup LOL!

    Nice work though!

    Never knew they climbed.
That would change everything about the enclosure, if I ever got one.

    Do Burms climb too?
