    Heat lamp above wattage?

    Hi all,

I have a heat lamp that is rated for 75 watts, can I put a higher watt bulb in it for a few days until I get out to buy a new dome? Say a 100 or 150.

I'm no expert but I wouldn't risk it myself , they have ratings for a reason .
