Question Ambient side hide vs. Basking side hide

Hey everyone, just another noob question looking to get answered. My 11wk old male spider bp just had his first shed (since being with me) and it was a bad one. Had the humidity in check at 65 bumped it up to 75 when I saw him having problems. Anyways, I gave him a warm bath and problem solved ( just has a could scales left on the top of his head ill deal with tonight) but that's beside the point im trying to make (I think). Hes been chilling in his cold side hide lately and hes always been in his warm side hide. Nothing (temp or humidity, other than for the shedding time) has changed and everything (since the shed) is back to normal. But I now find him under his cold hide between 78-80 on that side. Just wondering why and if that means anything, or am I just reading too much into it, and he just feels like it. The basking side is between 88-92 usually, around 85 at night with cold side being around 80 give or take a degree depending on house temps. Hes ok, no RI, healthy and hapy, just wanna know why all of a sudden he likes his cold hide. Any ideas? Thx guys!

They know what they're doing and will thermoregulate as needed. No reason to worry if your husbandry is spot on!
