    Whistling?

Marble has informed me that she does not like having her head touched. But she survived it. But while hanging her on my neck like a scarf, as she seems fond of, I discovered she makes a very faint whistling noise when exhaling. I don't see any mucous, she doesn't seem to be breathing hard. She does have a few flakes of stuck shed on her face, which I can't remove because she doesn't want me touching it. I also suspect she's got stuck eyecaps, but it's a little hard to tell other than just watching her bump her nose into everything. She doesn't seem impaired by her whistling, but it's new for me. should I be concerned?

I would watch for any RI's just in case, what morph is your bp?
and if you think she has some stuck eye caps maybe try soaking her for a bit to loosen them up and see if they come off.

She's probably a normal? The breeder was trying to get enchi but the clutch came out with normal colors. I don't know anything about breeding or morphs, so I have limited information on it. She looks like a somewhat brighter version of a normal, and she's a little over a year old. She was probably a month or two old when I got her, if judging by size.

okay, I was asking because some black pastels apparently whistle because of the shape of their mouth.
Since your's isn't, id say just keep an eye on him for any possible RIs, and make sure your husbandry is all correct

Also possible she may have a little bit of suck shed in her nose causing the "whistle" on the exhale - we had a Carpet Python giving us a whistle when we first got her, it went away on its own (no other signs of RI). Especially if there's some other shed stuck on her, that's what I'd assume first - but do keep an eye out for RI, because if it IS that, you definitely want to catch it sooner than later!

    Re: Whistling?

As mentionned what you percieve as a whistling sound is not always a bad sign, it can be a stuck shed or a nasal cavity issues.

Hard for anyone to tell without being able to see the animal in person.

Keep an eye on the animal and when in doubt consult with a vet.
