I'm new to ball pythons and have tried to find some posts on this in the forum but haven't had much luck. My male ball python has recently taken to occasionally sleeping either curled or lightly looped and parts of his belly showing up. He did have a large meal but it was a week ago (today is feeding day and I haven't fed them yet, they get offered every monday). He is a baby, I've had him for a couple of weeks and he's eaten every time I offered and has had a clean shed too. I'm wondering if the belly up is too warm? I have them in ambient 80-ish around their tub, with a 90 degree heat tape at the back of their shelf, water at the cool side and cypress mulch bedding. The humidity if anything is a bit too high so I took steps to lower it today. (I had it up for shed but they're both done now). Cool side of their enclosures is 80. I just want to know if he's not feeling well or if that's normal python sprawl and he's just having a good nap lol Oh and he has had a couple of big dumps since that big meal too so everything is "moving" in the right direction. And when I say "they" I have two snakes but they're in separate enclosures.
