I am a bit confused about safe woods for reptiles.
They say no cedar or pine (pine is debated, hi Skip.) because they are "evergreens". But Cypress is an evergreen and people use cypress mulch?
I am not looking about substrate. I am talking about to build enclosures with. In this part of the world, they sell ready made enclosures made with "Chinese fir", and I looked up fir is safe, but then found out that "Chinese fir" isn't a fir! It's just a nickname for an evergreen in the cypress family.
