Daytime snake
Ginger has decided to be out during the day, cruising around her enclosure, rather than sleeping in her hide. She's only started to do this since she got out.
Anyone else have a "day" snake?

Daytime snake
I'm up all hours and check on my snakes quite regularly. My BP will switch around day and night activities. Sometimes she active days and nights.
I do let my snakes out to exercise fairly often. I believe this adds to "pacing" and attempting jailbreaks for they seem to have a good memory of previous freedoms.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
Mack The Knife, 2013
Lizzy, 2010
Etta, 2013
1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
Esmarelda , 2014
Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017
Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

Re: Daytime snake
I've noticed that if my male is hungry, he'll start cruising in the afternoon- around 1 or 2pm. He usually doesn't start 'searching' until 8-10pm. I don't think it's that odd after an escape. She's probably just getting used to her enclosure again.

My ball pythons are almost never out, and even if it's a day or so before feeding, I usually just see little snouts and black eyes poking out of their hides. Haha. On the other hand, my kingsnake and corn snake really don't use their hides and prefer to hang out on their branches and such, both day and night.
