    All New England Reptile Expo..

Well, I decided at the last minute to take a cruise up the NY thru way to New Hampshire to the reptile show in my quest for the elusive blue puget sound garter. Once there the show was in full effect with a host of vendors, numerous amazing reptiles and amphibians as well as chelonians , live and frozen feeders. Crowd was moderate to heavy and everyone was having a great time. No, no blue pugets but a host of ball python morphs. Two gene and some three gene animals. There was a bp that did get my attention and he was a 2015 banana paradox pied male. Unfortunately he is disabled with a spinal kink and some left lateral facial deformities. What a stunning animal despite that. Vendor said he eats like a champ. Price was a bit steep for me though at 2,000.00 reduced. I will post some pics later.

Too bad about that Pied. Sounds like you enjoyed the show even though you didn't find the Garter.

    Stay in the hunt!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

So he still have a hefty price tag even with deformities? Shame...

I really did enjoy it and would've been a vendor if my stock wasn't so depleted. Hopefully in the spring of 2016 I will have increases.

Wow! never looked at it like that. I was about to get him but didn't want to take a 4 hour drive back home broke. Now looking at it from that perspective I see your point.

Sorry folks , having trouble loading these pics. They are too large and have to be resized. As soon as I can.

THIS IS THAT BANANA PARADOX WITH THE SPINAL KINK AND FACIAL DEFORMITIES ( A LITTLE BLURRY). Left eye smaller, orbital scale rows overgrown on left side, slight kink in tail as well. Almost bought this guy. Nice Candy was for sale. I think he was het for pied.

2,000$ for a deformed snake? No thank you. He's no good for breeding and as he grows that kink might get worse and might lead to other health issues. Real shame though, he has a great pattern. Good dodge not picking that one up.

Yeah, you are absolutely right and when the vendor said "he eats like a champ", I wasn't really processing that possibility. The possibility that his health could get worse. Thanks for that!
