Good morning everyone!
So if all goes well, I'll be putting a deposit down on a young banana spider male today! I'll be using a payment plan until I can get everything set up properly for him and also to ease the stress on my bank account. To keep costs relatively low, I was going to house him in a bin cage, a sterlitle tub of some sort. I know somewhere on this forum there is a thread for setting up these types of containers, so no worries there.
I'm just unsure of the size. His breeder says he is about 90 grams now. I was looking at 16 quart tubs but I don't want to get something too small. It won't be a long term home. In a couple months my big girl is being moved to a t8 so her 30 gallon will be empty and the plan was to move him in there until he can get his own t8 down the road.
Rambling aside, is a 16 quart bin too small for a 90 gram snake? He probably will be living in it 5 months max.
