    Two week old hatchling ?

I have a two week old hatchling ball python that has not shed yet. I know it did not get all of the egg yolk absorbed because the umbilical cord was twisted. Should I try to feed it even though it hasn't shed?

Temperature is 86 on the hot spot and mid to upper 70's on cool side. It is on moist paper towel substrate, water dish and two hides (one on each end) 6 qt. sterilite tub.

Yes I would try. If it didn't absorb all of its yolk sack it is already operating on less nutrition so I wouldn't wait. With regard to the shedding, I had a hatchling this year that never did the first shed with the others. I still fed it when I fed the others and it finally shed at about 5 or 6 weeks of age. Best of luck.
