Is my snake brumating on his own?

I'm still fairly new to the BP thing, have only been taking care of mine for a few months now and seem to have run into a bit of a snag.

He's rejected his food for the last 2 feedings, which im not overly worried about after everything i have read on how temperamental BP's are to feed at times.

My main concern is I think he may be going into brumation as it is that time of year and he has been spending all his time on the cool side of his enclosure. Everything i have found on brumation has to do with the process itself and has not been able to answer my question, which is why i have come here once more.

I'm just wondering what are the tell-tale signs of a snake beginning to brumate?

He's still a pretty young snake at 2 years old. Mine has not fed in 4 weeks now, and has not moved from the cool side of his tank in the last 3-4 days. His weight doesn't appear to have changed but i don't have any previous weight to compare to. He's right up against the glass on the cool side too, not sure if that would make a difference or not but thought it would be worth mentioning at least. besides that I haven't noticed any majorly irregular behaviors.

Ball pythons don't brumate or hibernate.

What are the temperatures in his enclosure, as measured at the surface with a temperature gun or IR thermometer?

How are you heating the enclosure and how are the heaters regulated (t-stat, dimmer...)?
