    Am I the only one??

Am I the only one more concerned with contaminating my collection from new animals in QT that I am with myself.
I will wash like I'm going into surgery after dealing with any of my animals that are in QT just incase I have to go in and deal with my collection.
However I catch myself lacking a lot once in a while after handling my established collection.

I do it too. I think that with my established group I have a false sense of familiarity that they are all fine and no cause for concern. That may come back to bite me in the hind end someday. But when it comes to QT animals, I am more paranoid than Howie Mandel in an Ebola ward.

Up until he moved I had a friend QT all of my new arrivals for 90 days at his house. His wife didn't (and still doesn't) like snakes but she would put up with one or two at a time of mine, since she knew that they would eventually be coming to my place. It did finally occur to her that it only took a week or so between when one snake would leave - leaving her with a snake-free house - and the next would arrive...
