I'm just wondering if any one has ever heard of this I just took in a rescue normal ball this family didn't have the time. So when I got there I asked ask the questions u know does it eat good never any health problems all that everything was good. Then they told me he only eats two move a week and they have to be male are he won't eat and have to be live. I own ball pythons I know how to get em from live to frozen. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever heard of them only eating male r female. I'm also gonna get him on rats.

A nearby pet store used to have people who insisted their snakes would only eat rats/mice of a specific gender, color, or even pattern. They solved this by instituting two different prices. The store charged their regular price of $X/rodent for the employee to select the feeder of appropriate size. They charged $15/rodent for the customer to select a specific rodent. Almost overnight all of these people discovered their snakes were suddenly neither murine sexist nor racist in their appetites.
