    graziani's

Have any one here tried to line bred graziani pastels? Are their line of pastels really orange or its just an individual animal will line breeding it will maintain its orange ness?

I got a female Graziani female line pastel from a fellow breeder its mother is an import directly from the Graziani's.
i was quite surprised with its color.. Even with age it has maintained its orange color not turning into brown....

Heres a comparison both are female pastels.. The more vibrant is a Graziani line pastel.. The other is a normal pastel

I produced pastels from this graziani but they aren't that orange in comparison to there mother some say because i paired it to a leopard it tends to darken the color....

Graiziani is just a line of pastel. Some look different than others. In the end it is just a pastel.

100% agreed. What matters is the quality of the animal, not the name attached to it. There are just as many good looking "no-name" pastels as there are "name brand" line pastels if you take time to look around.

I think after decades of Pastel talk...

if you want a wicked looking Pastel that keeps most of its color, you have to get a Pastel cross of some sort. Single gene Pastels from any line are hit and miss.
