Getting my first BP soon - a quick question

I haven't really seen this mentioned anywhere, and it might be a dumb question, but I thought I should ask anyway just to be safe. Is it okay to keep a BP in a lidded plastic tub that's just sitting up on a bookshelf with nothing to secure it to the shelf? As in, is there a chance the snake could push against the tub and make it fall? It will also have rubber feet on the bottom, is that enough?

That will be fine as long as the base of the tub is actually resting on the shelf and not hanging far over the edge.
