Multiple sheds back to back

My daughters corn snake recently shed and then immediately went into shed again. Both sheds were perfect one piece sheds and he seems to be doing great but I just thought it odd he would have sheds so close together. Anybody else ever have this happen?

Did you inspect the snake or at least have it out regularly? Frequent shedding may be done to help it cope with an injury like a scratch or burn I think.

Yea he's in perfect shape not a scale out of place, eats like a pig and growing like crazy. Like I said both sheds were perfect one piece sheds. In fact I watched him shed the second time, came right off like a nylon sock. Only thing I can think of is he is just growing like crazy. I'm not overfeeding him I don't think. An appropriate size mouse once a week.

Generally accelerated shed cycles are the result of some sort of injury. But if he looks fine and appears otherwise healthy, I would just chalk it up to something random.
