Hey, I'm brand new here as of today - thought this would be a good place to bring specific questions.
My new mojave BP is 3 months old and settling in well. He's a little weird though, he moves in a kind of odd way I've never seen snakes move. Granted, I don't have a ton of snake experience, but it's still weird. Whenever he tries to turn around and go another way, he usually "kinks" himself up, and rather than unwinding his head to un-knot himself, he just keeps going until the rest of his body flips over, belly up, to accommodate for it! This doesn't worry me much, but I read that unusual postures can indicate RIs and other medical conditions, like "stargazing". Is his weird flipping over thing a problem?
Also, he's been rubbing his head and some of his body on things in his enclosure a bit. With my skink, that means he's going to shed. Does it mean the same thing if a BP does it?
