    RB Hides: Medium or Large

Hey I recently adopted a 2 1/2 year old BP and I'm getting her new cage set up. Her scale hasn't arrived yet so I'm not sure of her weight but she's right at 3' long and healthy. Should I jump right to a large RB hide or get a medium for a while and swap out later? Thanks much.

I have my 3ft, 800 gram male using mediums right now, and he's about to be upgraded to larges, if that helps you at all.

Yeah thanks I just didn't want to get something that would be too big for her. I'll go ahead and order a couple of the large ones.

One of the hides for my normal is a bit big, but I packed it with moss to take up the extra room. Works well and makes a nice humid micro climate for him.

Here's a large and xl large AP hides side by side. Faye was about 900g in this photo. I accidentally bought the xl large thinking large would be too small.

There is a huge difference between the medium and large from Reptile Basics.
I have a couple 1200 to 1300g balls in the mediums.

Re: RB Hides: Medium or Large

Thanks for all your replies everyone I really appreciate the feedback. I went ahead and ordered a pair of the large sized ones. If push comes to shove I can store those and get mediums for her to grow with. A few people mentioned packing the extra space with moss etc. Would anything else work? She absolutely hates sphagnum moss. The two times I put it in her cage she refused to go anywhere near it. I'll post pictures of my setup next week when everything arrives. Thanks again!
