    Snake Rack Heating Replacement

Hello! I volunteer at a reptile rescue and we recently had the heat tape in some of the racks go out. The racks were replaced but I was wondering if it is possible to replace the heat tape so we can use them again? The units are from Reptile Basics and they are the Iris CB-70 series.

I don't see why not. You can order the heat tape by the foot and wire it urself. As long as u can get to the heat tape should be no problem.

Yes you definitely can. I have replaced the heat tape on a Iris CB-70 series rack from RBI and it was very easy. Just send Rich an email and ask him how many feet you'll need to replace it or pull the old tape out and measure.

Definitely can replace it. RBI will even wire the entire unit for you. All you would have to do is foil tape the heat tape down and plug in.
