    I'm a lucky owner...

    with a bonehead snake.

He struck at a live mouse and missed, got a mouthful of coconut fiber not once but twice!! After he swallowed the first mouse, struck at the second mouse and got another mouthful, I took him out, held him just behind the head and took out most of the fiber with the eraser end of a pencil. 5 minutes later, he is cruising around his tank looking for food. This photo is before he ate the second mouse. Thankfully, he did a good strike on that one and the mouse cleaned out his mouth.

I feel lucky to have such a phlegmatic snake.

Oh god, I thought that was... something else. HAHA.

Your snake makes for good stories to tell though, right?
