Ok so, tomorrow would make week two for my first BP, Osiris. He didn't eat last week. The store was feeding him twice a week, I've been reading up and talking to people and I understand why now, so I will attempt to start feeding him twice a week. Tomorrow is a normal feeding day, it will be the first time he's eaten if he does eat, nd I just have some questions.

So I was told last week to give him a few more days to get comfortable before I handled him again. So except to move him as I cleaned his enclosure I haven't touched him. Yesterday when I pulled his screen open he climbed up to the top and started sniffing for me, it was the first time he ever did that, and when I reached in to pick him up he started following my hand with his nose I guess. He wrapped around my wrist and started climbing up my arm, he's never done any of that before. He's usually trying to tear out of my hand when I touch him. Anyways, as far as the sniffing and following my hand goes; I've been watching youtube videos of people feeding their BPs and someone mentioned he looks for that behavior when he wants to know if his BP will eat before he feeds him. Is that behavior a "feed response"?

My other two BPs have a scheduled feeding on thursday, I haven't had them a week yet though. I rarely if ever see them because they stay in their hides all day and into the evening. Should i attempt to feed them? Tonight I actually moved them from their hides because I wanted to ensure they werent pooping in them and to clean under them. Although they were very comfortable with me the first couple of days I had them, i bought them both on Saturday, they both seemed very irritable tonight. They wanted nothing to do with me. So should I still attempt to feed them on thursday if they still havent emerged from their hides, or should i give them a few more days to get more comfortable?
