    Most of the new clutch!

Pairing was pastave sulfur x pewter. Unfortunately, the sterling mojave (poss sulfur) has a severe overbite/ underdeveloped lower jaw. And the super pastel Mojave sulfur seems to just have a small lower jaw.. I'd like to hear some opinions on keeping this one as a holdback for breeding. Anyways, here are pics, with what I believe the morph is.

    Pastel (very orange..)

    Thanks everyone!

To me his jaw looks fine. I have seen some sever lower jaw deformities and his looks to be way better then I have seen. However, if there really is an issue, I have to be honest, when ever I hear people talk about under developed jaws, or jaw issues, the snake usually dies in a few short weeks whether they can eat or not. If he does make it, it may not be wise to save it for breeding purposes. The condition may be genetic and any offspring it produces may have the condition as well. You could try it but you may be setting yourself up for disappointment and can also mean future lives lost. It is totally your choice of what you want to do it and I don't mean to scare you. But I really have not seen any BP with lower jaw issues survive. I have not done any breeding myself yet so my experiences so far only come from other people's experience. Some one more knowledgeable may be able to tell you.

Gorgeous snakes by the way. I love the sterling and Mojave stuff!
