My Kiddo had the time of his Life at the Super show!!!

I posted 2 pics up in the Herp Events Thread covering the Super Show, but had to share these pictures again. I knew Meghan and Casey would be at the show with her brother of El Segundo Pythons, so I sent her a message on IG asking if she would mind my son coming, as he always looks at her pictures on IG and watched the FAQ video she did on Anancondas and has been dying to meet her and the condas ever since, and she said absolutely bring him by. When we got there we walked up and she smiled and brought him back into the booth away from the crowd. She started by talking to him for a bit to make sure he was comfortable, then let him pet the snake while she held it, slowly easing him into it, once she knew he was ok she draped her over his shoulders, and he stayed like this for about 10 minutes calm as can be but at the same time the happiest I have seen him in a long time. Just holding his new friend and talking away! They asked if I minded them taking some pictures to post up, since they are really trying to spread awareness that anacondas aren't these killing machines that shows like eaten alive makes them out to be, so I said of course!!! I know most vendors at the expo are there trying to sell what they produce and make a living and I totally get that so we generally just walk around a look instead of asking to hold everything we see knowing we won't be buying anything, but the fact that she was willing to take the time to spend with my son says a ton, and I really have to give it up to her. He talked about it all the way home, this morning when he woke up and is asking when he gets to see them again. It is soo amazing that something so small can make such a big impact on a kid.

Well, I have to thank you.
    I had NO idea.

They always looked "greasey" to me, and there was that distasteful connection to the female rapper, and that whole sub-culture.

So, Meghan's Face book page had a brief video where she is merely patting Puppy"s (?) green head, and I found myself thinking that snake was just beautiful! Three longer Youtube videos later... they have a lovely energy. I really like them.
