    Reptile Rooms

Let's see your reptile rooms, large and small! Whether it be one rack, a room, or an entire facility. Show it off and be proud of it.

This is still a fantasy for me. It would have to be a separate building (Pinterest calls them She-sheds, but I've never seen one for snakes). We live in a tiny house.

My she-shed would have an attached glass green house on one side for tropical plants, and my gold fish. The rodent breeding/storage/cleaning area would be an entirely separate room. The main area with the attached green house and the snakes and maybe a few cool lizards would have just enough room for a ballet/karate/yoga exercise space heated to a balmy 85F (Bikram style), and also would have a computer internet set-up in order to watch videos.

At the moment I have two clutches in the incubator:
Banana bumblebee 100% het ghost x Pied- 5 eggs
Lesser 100% het clown x 100% het clown- 7 eggs

Also just had my female caramel albino ovulate. And I'm working on a project with a buddy. My clown male and his females: (1) 100% het clown, (3) pastel 50% het clowns, and (1) 50% ph clown.

My room is still in progress. It has to be the slowest conversion ever as it is going on 2 years in the making I think...I will grab some pictures tonight and post them. Basically I am converting my garage into the man cave/ reptile room. I installed insulated garage doors, hurricane seals around them, 2 ceiling fans, routed AC/Heat into the room, there is a full bathroom down there now for soaking/getting cleaned up myself after working on the cages, plus added a deep sink in the laundry room down there. Right now all that is down there is my Tegu cage and the cage my beardie will be going in this week after I get it all setup. The other half is still construction materials and storage so excuse the mess in the pictures when I get them up.
    SNAKES
    1.0 Childrens Python
    LIZARDS
0.1 B&W Tegu, 1.0 Bearded Dragon, 1.1 IJ Blue Tongue Skinks
    FROGS
    0.0.5 Dendrobates tinctorius 'Citronella'
    DOGS
1.0 German Sherherd (Timber), 1.0 Wolf/Shepherd (Sabre), 1.0 Chihuahua (Taz), 0.1 Chihuahua (Penny), 0.1 Pitbull (Luna)

    Nice clean set up Marissa.

This was part of my set up (I have another 7 tub rack not pictured here as it was being dismantled to be built into a new rack later). Unfortunately after a break in we sold the house and now everything is in limbo till October/November as we're currently building a new house. This thread is giving me some ideas though of what I want to do in the new house! Better go warn my wife. LOL

p.s. the tank is a divided 75 gallon tank that housed Crested Geckos but they were re-homed as part of the move so hopefully I'll be able to set it back up and get a few new Cresties as I really enjoyed keeping them.
    Cheers, Jeff
