Feed more or less often

over thew weekend i went to a reptile show and picked up some rats. They called very small so i got them for my bp who is about 210 grams. when i got home I got home i feed him one and to my surprise he ate it ( it was his first rat) i then was curious how much they weighed and the one rat i weighed was 37 grams. Do you think i would feed him every two weeks vs every week i was doing when he was on mice?

That sounds like a decent sized meal for your BP. I'd feed him one of those every 7 days. I usually feed my my young snakes 10-15% of their body weight every 5 days until they turn one then they get fed a little less food every 7 days.

Ok thank you i just wasnt sure since it was such a big step from the mice he was on
