Buying Frozen Feeders in Bulk - Juvenile BP

Hi there! First time BP owner here. My little guy has settled in really well - calm, is eating, etc - but I need some advice on feeders. He's approximately 5-6 months old, and I've been feeding him F/T large mice. But the price for them at pet stores is abysmally high, so I was looking to buy in bulk online.

I was going to order 50-count of Rat Pups, but I'm a little nervous that he'll outgrow these - and this is a big supply that'll last a while. If I ordered these, could I keep doing a 5-day feeding cycle even when he's much older? Or should I buy a size up with weaned/small rats?

Thanks so much for the help in advance.

If he can do large mice he can certainly take a weanling. I would go with weanlings and just start from the smallest to the largest out the bag. If he out grows weanlings but you still have some left, offer him two in a feeding.
