    Advice?

Last night I fed my 800-900gram male BP a large rat weaner, he was refusing food for a bout 1/2months before this. He took the rat, now tonight He is hanging out of his hide, But I can just tell he is hungry anything that goes past the tank he flies towards it.. I can tell when he's in hunt mode.

Is he still hungry? Every time I offer a small rat he seems to refuse or if he does take it, he wont eat for months afterwards.

Shall I try to feed him another large rat weaner tomorrow?

Would really appreciate any replies, thank you!

He has also been in his cold hide a lot recently,it has been extremely hot in the UK past couple of days, could this be the reason for this?

Personally if I were you I would wait a few more days. If you feed the snake to often it could possibly put him on another fast for a while. I have a female that is pushing 800 grams and I only feed her a f/t small rat every 10 days. That is what works best for this particular female that I have or she will go weeks without eating for me.

Unless one of my snakes has gone so long without food that they're dropping weight or need rehabilitating or something, I just continue to feed on the next scheduled feeding day once they break a fast.
