    Feeding issue

my pastel male has never had an issue when it comes to eating. After his second shed, he ate immediately! On his most recent shed (3rd and a flawless shed at that), he hasn't eaten. I've tried offering food several times, and he just won't eat. He approaches the rat/mouse (I've tried both in case he's being a diva and prefers one or the other) but the second he looks like he's about to strike, he backs down and turns away. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? He's only done this once before, and I found out it was because he was about to shed and couldn't see his food. It's already been a month and a week since he's eaten! Please help. I'm concerned.

Are your temps and humidity are up to par? If he's not showing any obvious signs of illness, and isn't losing a significant amount of weight, I'd just wait him out. BP's will sometimes take unexplained lengthy food breaks. I'd keep offering food every 7-10 day until he's back on track. Best wishes and keep us posted.
