    Egg question.

So as of today my eggs are at day 56. And they have been incubating at 88 degrees. But only one egg has started to collapse. I candled all 6 eggs and there are strong veins with movement. Should I go ahead and make a small cut to see inside? Or should I continue to wait it out?

Totally subjective! IMO, I would not cut. It's not like you are at day 59 or 60. If one of the eggs is dimpling, and you see veins and movement the other eggs will most likely follow. Stay in peace and not pieces. Good luck with the clutch.

I would leave them alone. Once cut you can't un-cut.

Alright thanks for the advice! I'm just worried/anxious for this clutch (first clutch ever)

    Re: Egg question.

As some one that had cut eggs before. I would wait until at least all the eggs are dimpled and look like they have absorbed more liquid. Me and my boyfriend cut our eggs when they were all dimpled and the liquid was still a lot. We now want to wait longer this year for sure. No eggs yet but we saved two of our hatchlings last year because we cut them. So I still think cutting isn't a bad idea but wait a while longer before you do.
