32 quart vs 41 quart rack

I am in the process of buying a rack system as I would like to get a few more snakes. I keep getting conflicting information on whether I should get a 32 quart or 41 quart rack. I am currently looking to get the animal plastics but not sure which style tub to go for. I will be keeping just ball pythons and there is a chance I might get a Brazilian rainbow boa one day.

The CB70 tubs are pretty much the standard for ball pythons. Get the rack that used those tubs.

most of my ball pythons can be house in 32, but the big girls need the 41. BRB will need something bigger than a 41 more than likely. I think ours are in 74 or some where around there.

Looks like I will get the Iris CB70. I like the fact they are made with thicker plastic. If the BRB out grows the rack I can always get a larger home for it.

Im going to start with a 4 container for now. I really don't see myself ever needing more than that.

V70, CB70 and 41 quarts are standard for females BP, 32 quarts are great for males.

Re: 32 quart vs 41 quart rack

What is the best 4 or 5 tub rack that comes with heat? So far I'm looking at the animal plastics with the CB 70. I don't want to break the bank and I have seen some really nice racks that professionals use but I'm a beginner hobbyist and am only looking to spend around 300 dollars.

I support everything everyone has said. 41qts for females and 32qts for males. My males, even at 3 years old still aren't very big. My females however are huge. Check out cserpents.com for racks.

Re: 32 quart vs 41 quart rack

I prefer diy for all my racks, so I go with the sterlite tubs.

I have 3 standard rack sizes. One is a 6qt hatchling rack, then my 12q / 32q interchangeable rack, then my 41qt racks for adult females.
