    I'm pleased to announce...

That my lil Reggie had a good 1st shed under my care. There was a tiny *tiny* section on his back (maybe 3-5 scales) that didn't come off & the last 1-1.5 millimeters of his tail. I took both off....phew!!!

Q: what does everyone do with the skin? Do you save it (if so, what do you use it for?) or toss it? Is it good for anything (garden nutrition or keeping THINGS out of the garden from the scent)?

Looking forward to pics of the freshly shed Reggie! :)

I would, but he ate last night & is currently digesting. I'll try to post one later

I don't get many that are nice enough to keep. Even when they shed in one perfect piece, they have a tendency to poop inside the shed.

I do have one nice one from my corn snake, which I'm planning to try to make into some kind of jewelry/coasters/something. The head piece is really cool.

You can see pieces of his shed laying about, so it wasn't perfect but better than having eyecaps!

O wow, that is a good one! I have no idea how to help you craft something w/it, other than lacquer spray

He's looking awesome! I love the white outlines on his patterns.
