Humidity?
So I have seen on caresheets that you keep bp humidiry between 50-60. But I have seen where some people keep theirs at 60-70. So I was wondering everyone's opinion on it.

Humidity?
I'm not a breeder and I only have one BP in a 55 gallon and the humidity is a constant 40 I have 2 waterbowls and when she she'd I just spray the sides of the tank. I am using aspen right now but Eco earth is good for humidity and you can lightly spray and it holds humidity well. Ever since I've had her it's been complete sheds.

I have mine in tubs and recently have had problems with that I can't get it below 65-73%. I have aspen. I was thinking about switching to reptibark.

Mine is typically always below 65. Anything higher i turn his fan on that i have specifically mounted and cleaned to his tank so that he wont get a RI or any physical harm from. It works wonders.

Re: Humidity?
I use a Zoo Med Hygrotherm controller for ambient temp(with CHE) and humidity (repti-fogger), set at 52% most of the time, then raise it to 62% when she is in Blue. Had humidity issues before this setup, rough sheds when too low, belly irritation when too high, especially if any substrate was damp, using an Exo terra glass vivarium with top mostly enclosed with plastic pannels. The controller works beautifully, coupled with the UTH and thermostat controlling it, ambient temps, UTH temp and humidity are always perfect, sheds are always quick, in 1 piece, and no issues with mold or belly irritation being the aspen substrate stays dry. Buddy with a couple Boas uses the same setup for a BCI and BRB, it makes it easy to set an ideal environment with little work to control it, other than filling the humidifier bottle, weekly in the winter, lasts a month or more in the summer.

Snakes in tubs, paper substrate, hides and water bowl. No misting, one piece sheds every time.
