Unhappy Ball python rubbing his face in the wall enclosure

Hello, I have a ball python that goes around the cage rubbing the side of his face on the enclosure wall. He is not in pre-shed and is not refusing food.
Any advise why he does that? I have other 3 that do not display the same behavior

Do you have a bowl of water in there? If you do, have you noticed excessive soaking? It could possibly be mites or a parasite. My initial thought was shed, but if that isn't it....

Agreed, check for mites. You can get a wet paper towel and basically hold the snake with it and let it crawl through your hands. If there are mites, they should appear as really tiny specks on the towel.

It could also just be stress; is he new, or has he recently been moved to a new enclosure/environment?
