    Live feeding?

Hi, this is my first time here but I am hoping this is the best place to get answers.

I have a couple BPs who will take F/T but they do way better when fed live. I also have a few BPs who will only take live. The others do very well feeding F/T. I personally would prefer to feed all live as it is easier for me and cheaper. I never leave my snakes until they have all eaten. If they do not in 20 minutes (which is very rare) I remove the live rat.

My question is, I have a few snakes who have been fed on F/T for three or more years. Will they be able to safely eat live or will they just not get it and possibly get hurt? I am aware that they may never take F/T again, but does it work the other way around?

The only way they'd get hurt is if you weren't observant when feeding them. It's extremely unlikely that you've undone thousands of years of evolution in just a few years of feeding f/t.

Just make sure the food doesn't eat the snake! Other than that, I'm betting the F/T eaters would take live again.
