Use up current stock of frozen rats?

I currently have 30-40 frozen weanling rats. They look a little small for two of my snakes, but I don't want to waste them. Since I'm a new snake keeper, I just want to double check my plan with people here. Would it be ok to feed them the weanling rats every 4 or 5 days? Or should I just stick with weekly and buy small rats when it's time to restock? All three are males, weighing 425g, 399g, and 365g. The two heaviest are definitely bigger around than the weanling rats. It's hard to tell with the lighter guy, but he looks a tad bigger around than the rats. The 399g snake is underweight, so I fed him Sunday and today (Wed), since the rats seem so small.

I would just feed them every 5 days. No need to throw out the rats.

I would not throw out any rats! Just feed more frequently, like you suggested. Sometimes a BP will take 2 in one feeding, which is also fine, as long as the feeders aren't huge.

It's often recommend to feed growing snakes <500 grams every 4 days anyway, so you'll be fine on that ramped-up schedule.

The Spinnerblast that I fed earlier today doesn't have a visible rat lump at all...

I wouldn't waste them, small rats where I live are $5.35 for 1 and the price just keeps going up jumbos are like $12 I think so I wouldn't waste any of them

You can always feed two. Just wait until the first is down in their lower half. My girl is in the middle of what size f/t feeders I can get right now so I just thaw 2 and she's been taking them both. I heat one, offer, wait for her to get it mostly down, and heat the other up. (They're room temp when I get home to feed her, I set them out a few hours prior. Hot water submersion in a colander and bowl w/ a weight on the baggie to heat.)

Great Googly-Moogly! I'd be breeding my own if they were that expensive where I live - or going into the feeder business.
