When your boss yells "Did you guys see the cobra flying around the building??"
ends up being a stupid helicopter  !!

Couple of weekends ago I was out hiking with about 10 other people. We were crossing a field and someone called out "SNAKE!"
Everyone took a few steps back, but I moved forward to get a better look.
(Was just a good-sized garter).

I'm actually not! That's why the whole office was going nuts! This beast of a military machine was just flying around the building. It was pretty awesome! Still... it could have been a snake  ..

We've had Ospreys pass over a handful off Times in the last several months. So weird...

We were visiting my parents, out in the middle of the country in east Tx. The kids come running in, "There is a snake under the truck!!!" My mom: "grab the shovel!!" Me: "identify it first!! It could be helpful!!" My husband and I caught it and relocated it far away from their house. It was a 5' speckled king snake, but boy, did it try to convince us that it was a rattler!!
