First time holding a boa
I got to hold a pretty good sized boa today at the show. I have to say it was one of my favorite experiences holding a snake. As they seem so curios about what you are. I'm sold as a boa for my next snake. Just have to wait few years to get settled down and I can get one

Re: First time holding a boa
I held my first big boa at a repticon too it is an amazing experience. They draped her around my neck and she was just as sweet as can be. Heavy as heck though and so strong! Even holding a baby boa their strength is so amazing to see and feel. I can't wait to add a boa too. They are really really cool snakes

Holy! That is one big, flipping snake! Hopefully my Hogg Island doesn't get quite that big. They are a fun species though - so active, lots of attitude and quite curious but also such a beautiful animal.

She was a Surinam red tail boa. BIG girl(and so sweet). I have a hoggie, too. They won't get nearly that big.

That's not a Boa!
That's a MONSTER!
But it sure looks like a sweet one.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

That'd a huge snake! I bet it's fun to feed. I can't to get my own. Altho it will a lot smaller than that one. What do you feed that thing? Small children? (I joke)

It just looks like a regular Colombian BCI to me. Not sure I see any suri in there. But damn, that thing looks awesome! I can't wait until mine is that big.

I still haven't held a snake with some real size to it but I bought my boa a while ago and I'm looking forward to seeing how big he gets aND growing with him
