    Ranco etc probe???

I recently bought a ranco etc prewired for my oil filled space heater, and I was not sure where the best place to mount the probe in my reptile room is. Where would the best place to mount it in my reptile room be? any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

As an hvac mechanic I have a few questions, where are your reptile cages, where is the heaterr, how a far away etc? If you place the probe to close it won't sufficiently heat the room. Also is there any air circulation like a fan?

    Re: Ranco etc probe???

I am going to put a fan in tomorrow. The room is not big at all its actually quite small. My rack is in the corner of the room and the space heater is probably about 5 feet away from it. Its actually my bedroom but I am changing rooms whenever i get this thermostat successfully working with my space heater and making it a complete reptile room. Once I move out of this room it's gonna be completely empty and I can place the heater basically anywhere in the room. Just want to get the probe mounted in the best place in the room. Thanks
