    Pastel pied?

I picked this guy up, he was sold to me as a low white pied. His markings are gorgeous, and I keep wondering if he's a pastel pied. I thought I'd toss it at the group mind here and see what yall think.

it looks like he had a bad shed and is missing some scales on his head, those should grow back, right?

theres the best I could do for a belly shot. He wasn't cooperating.

    Thanks in advance.

Not a pastel pied, just a very light/bright pied! Great pick up. I choose a bright low white pied like him over a pastel pied any day.

Pastel pieds would have green eyes

He is gorgeous! Great pickup, and that is awesome that his personality matches.

    Re: Pastel pied?

Very pretty! I have a low white pied girl that looks very similar to him. She was sold to me by a really experienced breeder as a normal pied. So I'd guess he is the same. Still a great buy!

    Thumbs up Re: Pastel pied?

He does have a reduced pattern or hypo type pattern. Did the seller show you pics of the parents? Consider asking him for the pics. This is a picture of my pastel pied. The reduced pattern can exist bc he's young.

Just saw your comment (haven't been over here in forever), i hadnt even thought of asking to see the parents, though I may fire off an email asking to. I'm really not toooo worried about it.
