Best and cheapest way to do it. Find a free broken fridge. line it with heat tape and a fan. Get a thermostat and done. Nice.

    Nice! Good luck.
I made mine out of a large high-end wine chilling fridge. ($900 new retail).

The refrigeration/compression system was broken, so I got it for $50 on craigslist.

I stripped out all the refrigeration/compressor components calked any holes, lined it with 11" flexwatt, installed a small blue LED computer fan, and viola!! Perfect stainless steel full glass door incubator for less than $100 and less than 1 hour time.

It holds temps and humidity at a perfectly static 24/7 rate.

I'm only doing 1 or 2 clutches per year, but it can handle up to 15 clutches or so if I were to ever get to that.

I looked at cutting out the door on the old fridge I had and making a window, but there were so many odd shapes inside (shelves, trays, etc) that it just seemed like it would be difficult.

Are you going to use the freezer portion as a separate incubator, or cut away the divider between the fridge and freezer sections and have one large space?

    Re: New incubator.

At first I was going to cut all the way through and make one big space. But then I started thinking it would be a good idea to make two separate ones. That way I could put my Leo and beardy eggs in the smaller spot then all my ball and hognose eggs in the larger space.
