Is it possible for a snake who has only eaten f/t since hatching would stop taking f/t and only except live? My spider bp is 8 months old now, was 440g last month but hasn't eaten since 4-19-15 so he is now 387g. I have tried every week like clockwork to get him to eat and he doesn't seem interested. I know that they can go for awhile without eating but I'm a new bp owner so I worry....lol

Yes it's possible. Mine took f/t twice for me but never really seemed very into it, then she just stopped. I tried all the tricks but she lost enough weight that it was getting worrisome so she had to start eating live. She still won't take f/t.
So, a live feeder might kickstart a feeding response, but if that's something you'd rather avoid it doesn't have to be on the table until she loses a dangerous amount of weight.
