    Rat popped when fed

    I fed my ball python 2 days ago but when I fed him the rat basically popped so I was wondering should I feed him another as he didn't get the insides of the rat

    Was it a frozen rodent? If so, it was probably too hot when being thawed out or thawed to quickly.

    No. You don't need to feed him til his next scheduled feeding.
    It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
    It is okay to feed live food to snakes.
