Not at all. You pretty much just screw in the RHP with two screws and call it a day. Very easy. What wattage RHP are you looking for? Personally I run an 80 watt Reptile Basics RHP which works great in my T8.

On the RB site the measurement length is 22.5" of the 80 watt so it should be just fine. Plus, the divider can be put anywhere. It doesn't have to be in the dead middle of the terrarium. As he grows you can move the divider to give him more space.

Np at all. You'll get the glass in a second delivery. They ship them seperate from the terrarium. Also, did you find yourself a thermostat to control the RHP already?

Re: Are RHP's hard to install?

RB's VE are very good from what I hear but I have no personal experience with them. I use Herpstat brand from Spyder Robotics and love it.

Personally, I bought two of my Herpstats used for a pretty decent price by putting a wanted ad on here and Fauna Classifieds. However, the Herpstat 1 isn't badly priced at all.
