Out of town for a few days

I'm kinda frazzled right now. We have to take a trip out of town, unexpected death in the family. We'll be gone at least 6 days. What do I do about the snakes? Will they be okay if left? (I obsessively check water& tubs) Hubs gave me a dirty look when I suggested bringing them with us.

I don't have anyone to come by and check on them. Help?

For six days, heat is really the only concern, IMO. They can go without food (obviously) for long periods. Water they can go at least six days without a problem. If they poop or pee a lot, it won't be ideal, but they can make six days in it.

What are the temps like where you are at? How reliable is your heating system for them?

It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

Well, imo 6 days is not too long at all as long as you clean and change the water before you leave. When I say clean I mean to spot clean the tubs and replace substrate as needed. Make sure fresh water is in place and everyone is secured down properly. These are snakes and they pretty much take care of themselves. Stay in peace and not pieces.

Most are in a rack that has belly heat regulated by a thermostat. I've got a couple in tubs, the room is kept fairly consistently around 80. I'll do a temp gun check tomorrow when I've rested a bit to get a better idea of the specific temp, just so I know for sure.
