My first shed as a new BP owner !

I was very excited to come home today and see a nice full shed from Stryker. It is nice to know that I'm probably doing my part as best as I can. He seems tired but is less cranky...I'll give him some time before I handle him.

    Nice....our first shed was terrible!

I've never worried about waiting to handle. They are silky smooth after a fresh shed. Only time I worried about it was when we were on a feeding day or right before/after. Congrats on the shed.

He still seems like he wants to hide....not his normal self just yet. He's usually all over the cage around 4:30 5:00 but he's just chillin in his hide out. I'll get him out tomorrow.

Do you live with any non snake family members? Or had anyone visited and seen the shed?

To this day non snake people see the snake shed and ask "Can you sell it?". I think it is because they are thinking of snake skin handbags etc.

This all did make me happy....Ive never enjoyed a pet as much as this BP. I never liked snakes in the past but these BP's are pretty chill and also beautiful animals.

I cant stand talking to people that are not into the hobby and say stupid things. Some people are well rounded and can sound intelligent about any subject.....those are the people I like. Another crazy thing is how many people do not do anything as a hobby.....but sure do have plenty of stupid things to say.
