    Question Breeding opinions wanted

So for the past few months I've been doing a ton of research on BP breeding. Because I love BPs so much, and already have one of my own, I would really love to breed her. Not for a profit or anything, mostly just for the experience of it. I already have homes for at least half of the future babies. Buuuutttt, I've had some people say that it isn't morally right to breed BPs because there are so many currently without a home. (Even morphs, they said.) I was just curious as to if that's actually true? I mean, I have never heard of a morph being up for adoption.

It kind of depends, and in my opinion the subject can be a little hazy. If you were to breed two normals together I would say don't do it, as normal females don't sell well and normal males don't sell at all (by breeders, anyway. someone looking for a pet might be more interested). I wouldn't even advise a single gene male to a normal female since the odds of the clutch wouldn't be that great (unless you bought a crazy expensive single dom or codom). That being said, it is ultimately your own decision whether or not you want to breed and it's up to you to evaluate your reasons and decide if you want to roll the dice. Breeding is always a gamble, after all.
