    Chipped hide safe to use?

So, Eden is back! That being said, I just received an order of several Exo-Terra rock hides and I really don't like them. They were described to be much bigger and the mediums will not hold up to 500g as said...I already gave one to Cleo to try. Furthermore, we ordered a large for our big boy and he can't even get in the opening. PLUS the large came in chipped. Well, now Eden is back but when she was gone we threw away her crappy handmade hide because we figured we'd have a different one by now...again...mediums came in too small. Well, I told Amazon that the large was broken and they told me to keep it and issued me a refund.
Here is the chip: (right of opening)

I let Eden check it out and she DOES fit very well in it. I was going to throw it away but if it's safe to use...why not? Makes a good temporary until I get a reptile basic hide! What do you think? She seems to enjoy it!
